Leakey Foundation’s Research Grants on Human Origins has a mission to increase scientific knowledge, education, and public understanding of human origins, evolution, behavior, and survival. Current funding priorities include 1) paleoanthropology of the Miocene, Pliocene, and Pleistocene; and 2) primates, including evolution, behavior, morphology, ecology, endocrinology, genetics, isotope studies, and 3) modern hunter-gatherer groups.
