Arnold Venture’s Strengthening Evidence—Support for Randomized Control Trials (RCTs) to Evaluate Social Programs and Policies aims to build the body of proven, effective policies, programs, and interventions by funding researchers to conduct rigorous RCTs across the spectrum of social policy. AV is interested in supporting relevant, rigorous work that can ultimately inform decisions and improve the lives of kids and families in American communities. Programs proposed should have been evaluated previously and found to have positive impacts on important outcomes, and the primary outcomes of those programs are of recognized policy importance. Proposals must align with the funder’s strategic areas of interest, such as higher education, infrastructure, housing, health, and public finance. OFR Contact: Mike McMahon. Amount: Not specified (recent grants have ranged from $200K – $400K), Deadline: 6/13/25.
