The SSRC/Japan Foundation’s SSRC-JF Next Gen Japan Studies Development Program provides grants of up to $20,000 to US academic institutions or consortia of institutions to host Japan-based faculty for a six-week stay in the United States. The July deadline is for grants beginning between September 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026. There will be a November deadline for grants beginning between January 1, 2027, and June 30, 2027.
